Renowned SoCal brand serves pies to those who have dedicated their lives to serving others beginning in May
ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. (May 2, 2024) – Polly’s Pies, the beloved family-owned restaurant, is proud to announce the return of its “Pie for the People” campaign in recognition of Military Appreciation Month – for the third year in a row.
Starting May 1 through Independence Day on July 4, Polly’s Pies will be selling its signature “Pie for the People,” a delicious offering priced at $17.49, with proceeds going towards donating whole pies to active military personnel, veterans and first responders in Southern California. This initiative, which is close to the hearts of Polly’s founders, extends the company’s gratitude to those who serve our country and community.
“Polly’s Pies has always been deeply committed to supporting our military community,” said Jacklyn Mitosinka, Director of Brand at Polly’s Pies. “This effort not only honors our brave active military and retired personnel but also pays tribute to our own veterans and military family members within the Polly’s organization, including our co-founders Don and Eddie Sheldrake and the managers of our Long Beach and Norco locations.”
In addition to honoring active military personnel, Polly’s Pies will also extend its support to veterans and first responders by donating over 7,000 pies across Southern California. The campaign will include coordination with various platoons and Veterans associations to ensure pies are distributed to those who have served and sacrificed for their nation.
